Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street has confirmed Kit Green and Sarah Platt’s relationship decision in upcoming scenes. It comes after many have expressed doubts about their future, including Sarah herself.
In scenes last week, brother David admitted that the family had been taking bets on how long they would last as an item, which made Sarah question the relationship, asking Kit if he saw a future together.

After falling out, Kit decided to arrest David for no reason on the day of his and Shona’s baby scan – though Kit eventually gave in and took him to the hospital after pleas from David.
Sarah went to the hospital with Shona and weighed up whether she wanted to stay with Kit, though Kit later tried to prove his loyalty by asking her and Harry to move in. However, she asked him to move in with her instead, which he agreed to.
In follow-on scenes airing next week, Kit starts to move his things into Sarah’s flat, and while in their good mood they head to the bedroom to celebrate this new step.
Are they entering a new chapter?

“Like David and the Platts, you’d be forgiven for assuming that Sarah and Kit’s romance wasn’t going to last,” our Corrie insider said.
“But the couple are going from strength to strength and they make their new living arrangements official next week. Is this their happily ever after, or will there be bumps in the road ahead?”
It comes amid David and Shona’s new baby storyline, which began as the couple learnt that their unborn baby may have a tumour on their neck, and would need an urgent follow-on appointment.
The weight of the decision was highlighted in a standalone episode last night, which showed both Shona and David’s perspectives ahead of their consultant appointment.

While Shona was angry that David seemed nonchalant, his side of the story showed he was desperate to support his wife and was scared of saying the wrong thing.
After opening up to one another, it was confirmed that their baby girl did have a tumour, and that Shona would have to undergo high-risk surgery if they did want to carry the baby to term.
David later suggested that they should consider having a termination, though was later left concerned after Shona failed to reveal the difficult news when others came round for dinner, instead celebrating the fact that they were having a girl.
She later told her husband that she wanted to give the baby a chance and had decided that she would have the procedure.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
