EastEnders spoilers follow.
Avani Nandra-Hart will make a huge decision on EastEnders as her pregnancy storyline continues.
The teenager discovered that she was carrying a child earlier this month, though she refrained from immediately telling her family as she solely confided in Barney Mitchell. The secrecy didn’t last long, however, with Suki discovering the truth.
Suki agreed to keep it a secret from both Ravi and Priya, though she urged Avani to carefully think things through before making any decision. The teenager expressed her plan to have an abortion, much to Suki’s disappointment.
Thursday’s (24 July) episode saw Avani remain steadfast in her plan to have an abortion, though there was a twist in the storyline as Suki proposed the idea of raising the child as her own.

Next week’s scenes will begin as Suki pleads with Avani to carefully consider her offer, with the teenager left uncertain. Though Eve is currently unaware of her wife’s plans, she dismisses the idea of having children of her own in a conversation with Avani.
Despite Suki’s pressure, Avani is resolute in her previous stance and confirms that she will be having an abortion. She later heads to her appointment, with Suki interrogating Barney as to where she’s headed.
Suki eventually tracks Avani down and implores her to reconsider her offer once more, with the figure even offering to pay the teenager’s expenses. Will Suki manage to convince Avani to keep the baby, or will Avani’s mind remain unchanged?

While Avani will be involved in a dramatic storyline, her father Ravi is going through trials of his own, with the character being arrested earlier this week following an arc involving Harry Mitchell and Kojo Asare.
After discovering that Harry’s mother Nicola was the person who tipped off the police, Ravi headed to Harry and ordered him to keep hold of the drugs for the time being – how long until Harry’s debt is paid?
EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
