Exclusive data obtained by Channel 4 News reveals how sophisticated vehicle thieves are targeting anything on wheels, from cars to vans and even ambulances.

But the proportion of crimes being solved by police forces across England and Wales is far lower than even just a few years ago.

As part of our Frontline series, we’ve spent time with one team of specialist investigators tasked with tracking down stolen cars. The police have asked us to withhold the exact location of some of this filming.
