Badenoch: The Conservatives are coming back – signs of renewal are everywhere

Kemi Badenoch says her party “has done brilliantly” in the local elections so far, and has insisted that “the Conservatives are coming back”.

It follows the Conservatives losing more than 170 seats, and control of Hampshire County Council, which now falls into no overall control.

  1. It is inconceivable the tories could win another GE.They are just as much done as Labour. The public have had enough of the lies and false promises. The country needs a new direction away from the tired old two party system.Labour and cons are in denial.

  2. We are at a stage now where losing seats is classed as a good result and a party like Reform who are voted for, not because they have good policies or a vision(other than send immigrants back) but because the two main parties are lost. Yet Reform are full of old tories and only get about 25%of the vote, hardly popular themselves. Fact is the UK is more divided than ever before.
