Labour’s local election bloodbath: Will Starmer resign? | The Daily T

On today’s Daily T, Camilla Tominey and Tim Stanley reflect on a nightmare set of local election results for Keir Starmer. With the Prime Minister taking the blame but refusing to step aside, Camilla and Tim assess whether the Labour Party may well take the decision out of his hands.

As bad a night as it’s been for Labour, it’s been a great one for Reform. Camilla and Tim are joined by a jubilant Nigel Farage, who says his party’s remarkable taking back of the “red wall” is down to Starmer’s “weak and ruderless” leadership, and that Reform’s gains are down to the Labour Party of “London human rights lawyers” not connecting with ordinary people.

  1. Kier thinks he a king, ignore the plebs! Ego on the bloke. Country will collapse without him? Let me be clear! I am gonna ignore this and go back to collecting me Air Miles by giving away more to the EU

  2. He won't resign, I believe Starmer when he says that. He's gonna stay until the absolute, bitter end. He doesn't care about destroying Labour. I'm not a Labour voter so I don't care either, but the attitude of the man is quite amazing.
