Hantavirus: How passengers were removed from cruise ship and sent home

A repatriation flight for Britons who were on the hantavirus-struck MV Hondius has landed in the UK after taking off from Tenerife.

The 20 British citizens will now be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital, where they will remain in isolation for 72 hours under strict infection control measures.

The medical isolation site, which is in Merseyside, was also used at the start of the COVID pandemic for British people being flown back from China.
