RAF plane ‘dangerously intercepted’ by Russian fighter jets over Black Sea

An RAF reconnaissance plane was “repeatedly and dangerously intercepted” by two Russian fighter jets last month, the Ministry of Defence has said.

The Su-35 and Su-27 warplanes approached the unarmed Rivet Joint aircraft during a routine flight in international airspace over the Black Sea, the ministry said.

The Su-35 flew close enough to trigger the plane’s emergency systems, including disabling the autopilot, and at one point coming within six metres of its nose.

  1. Meanwhile, Starmer will still buy Russian Oil. For no other reason than to save his own career and his five million plus personal wealth….. Not as if the RAF could do anything about this anyway, as the RAF is busy protecting Israel instead of it's own planes.
