What’s behind the massive drop in net migration to the UK?
The prime minister insists he is “getting on and delivering” as net migration has fallen to the lowest level since 2012, excluding the pandemic.
Sir Keir Starmer told ITV News he is “really proud” of the progress the government has made on migration, waiting lists and economic growth – but refused to answer questions about his leadership.
The PM denied the good news was “too little too late” saying, “this is really good delivery.”
“This is really significant, so I’m very, very pleased, all of those figures are good news, taken together they’re a very strong package,” he insisted.
