Labour U-turn? Promised inquiry for British Sikhs in jeopardy

Sky News understands that Labour’s long-promised inquiry into the UK’s role in the 1984 Golden Temple attack in India is now unlikely to proceed. The inquiry had been repeatedly promised, but sources have told Sky’s Amrit Singh Mann that concerns about damaging UK-India relations – now strengthened by a major trade deal – are behind the shift.
