Stop giving social housing to foreigners – Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy joins Steven Edginton to discuss Nigel Farage’s proposal to remove foreign nationals from social housing, Reform UK’s wider immigration agenda, welfare dependency, and whether Britain should prioritise its own citizens over newcomers.

They also debate Labour’s proposed social media restrictions for under-16s, the future of YouTube, online anonymity, free speech, and whether government intervention is the answer to Britain’s growing concerns about young people’s screen use. A wide-ranging conversation on migration, welfare, demographics and freedom in modern Britain.

  1. But if I as an American want to come over, my money's worth less and I have to go through extensive processes to even be allowed to get a job to survive there but they get to live in my ancestral continent for free?

  2. Honestly social housing should only be going to brits not foreigners who are fresh of a boat. But I will argue the only time social housing should go to a non brit is when they are giving back a service I am not talking making kebabs. I mean actual skilled labourers who contribute back to the community and pay tax and not just sponge of benefits so doctors, engineers, scientists, vetenerians, architects people who are actual beneficial to an economic and infrastructural stand point.

  3. They need to extend this to employment benefits, let's say you are foreign born and come here and lose your job, you need to go home!

  4. The Immigrant gets 1500 a month, more per a child, not including other benefits/healthcare/education/higher education/housing.
He will pay NOTHING for his entire life.

Meanwhile, your Nan gets 800 a month – after paying taxes for her entire life – while the government openly talks about what a burden the elderly are.

What is your Future looking like?

What is your children and grandchildren's future looking like? Yarvin has an answer to that.

  5. The problem we have in this country is, You get people in power in social housing that favour their ethnicity. Their people get priority. Seen it with my own eyes….
