The United States and Iran traded strikes on July 9 for the second day running as Washington and Tehran battled over the strategic Strait of Hormuz. Explosions were also heard in Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait, two US allies in the Gulf, following fresh attacks on Iran overnight. But although Trump says he is ready to fight Iran all the way, will he risk it politically? FRANCE 24’s Fraser Jackson tells us more.

Ironically "peace maker" has become the peace breaker .
The difference between Iran and Vietnam is Trump knew how to get out of Vietnam. There's no getting out of this. Graveyard of nations means graveyard of nations. There is nothing to win and everything to lose.

Trump is being played by Iran!
Actually and this is true it’s NOT that Trump can’t stomach WAR. Maybe he can WHO knows but that’s NOT even his issue it’s how can Trump sell the WAR to the American 🇺🇸 constituent.
When Trump with Netanyahu opened this pandoras 📦 he opened something that to close it it’s gonna require putting boots 🥾 on the ground there and the cost 💲 to even do that it’s gonna out weigh his stomach.

Reality: Trump called them 20 times, straight to voice mail, left 20 messages.
Soon Trump will said things like "Iran badly want a deal" and stop. US has no preparation for a long war with Iran, not enough ammunition and no ground troop invasion plan and not enough preparation, lastly mid term coming.
Iran has the upper hand no matter what and they play their cards coldly and very smartly
