Hegseth claims Iran ‘begged for ceasefire’ as Strait of Hormuz ‘reopens’
After more than a month of conflict between the US, Israel and Iran, a ceasefire agreement has been reached following last-minute negotiations involving Pakistan.

The deal centres on Iran easing pressure around the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for a pause in hostilities.
US Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, claimed Iran “begged” for a ceasefire deal, while Tehran issued its own 10-point plan including demands for “compensation” over “reconstruction costs”.
While the agreement has raised hopes of de-escalation and helped ease oil prices, fighting in other parts of the region, including Lebanon, is not included. The situation remains fragile, with key details still to be tested on both sides.

Actually the cease fire lasted about 15 minutes. Israel bombed Lebanon and the Straits are closed….. again.
Just one word! ISRAEL!
🤔 😁
Pete Hegseth is a lair! Iran did absolutely no begging.
Hegseth must think we are all fools. No one believes that Iran "begged" for a ceasefire.
Market manipulation for their own benefit. They're pulling all the strings, understand what's going on right now, this is nothing other than filling their pockets.
Hegseth ls a liar just like trump
Trump has delivered the world's shortest ceasefire.
anyone read the 10 point Iranian plan and thought "yeah, the states did well there"?
