Stephen Dixon questions Independent MP for Kingston upon Hull East Karl Turner over Andy Burnham’s position on a potential general election. Turner is challenged on why Burnham has not called for the country to return to the polls, with Dixon arguing that the Prime Minister lacks a clear public mandate.
Turner also delivers a strongly critical assessment of Sir Keir Starmer’s time in office, describing the past two years as deeply disappointing. He argues that a series of decisions made by the Prime Minister have left many voters disillusioned and have failed to address the challenges facing the country. The discussion examines the growing frustration among parts of the electorate and the wider debate over Labour’s direction.
He also expresses his support for Andy Burnham’s vision of further devolving powers away from Westminster and Whitehall. He praises Burnham’s commitment to giving more decision-making authority to local and regional leaders, arguing that communities are better served when they have greater control over their own futures.

There is no trust, the only way is a general election.
Wanna know somethin' ..
STARMER'S last Act of making KHAN a PEER, was his way of STICKING TWO FINGERS UP to the British people.
Labour/Labour related are Never going to gain back Trust, they will be in a Worse position than Torys after this reign of ego/power
Every time LIEbour get into power are a disaster to Britain, it's indigenous people and the whole economy:
Callaghan under Wilson devalued Sterling 1967; Healey under Callaghan went cap in hand to the IMF for a bail-out 1976; Brown under Blair, abolished the "pension tax credits" thereby making pensions not worth having, but gave golden handshakes to MPs and the civil serpents; sold 60% of our gold reserves at the lowest price ever; gave power to the newly created FSA; made debt per person higher than ever before; and paid for illegal and unnecessary wars in Iraq & Afghanistan; Darling under Brown, bailed out the failing banks , and failing at everything else – as he was another incompetent Chancellor -left it with Liam Byrne, Chief Treasurer, to leave a note saying "sorry there is no money left". Decades of BAD MANAGEMENT BY LIEBOUR ON EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE ECONOMY!
