Ceuta: What triggered mass migrant crossing? • FRANCE 24 English

The massive influx of people was equivalent to around 70% of Ceuta’s resident population. As the first reports of migrants reaching the Spanish enclave spread, more people headed north in the hope of reaching EU territory. It remains unclear what triggered the influx, but social media was awash with posts encouraging people to enter Ceuta in the days before the chaos began. Clémence Waller has more.

  1. Pushbacks should be legal.

    Russia started a war, killing ppl. And not many seams to have a big problem with that.

    Europenian countries want to stop ppl at the border, or send illegal migrants outside, and all of the sudden everybody:
    how dare you? It's not right!

  8. The Spanish Govt & EU are unable to communicate to Foreign populations via Social Media the LEGAL methods for seeking a contract in Spain/EU and how the employer can process the proper paperwork?
    FLOOD SOCIAL MEDIA WITH THE ACCURATE INFORMATION

  9. Just like in 2021, Marocco organised this to pressure Spain.and these people were lied to and used as weapon against Spain by Marocco. Only this time, it had more cheering on from US and Israel (as punishment for refusing to join their wars).
