BREAKING: Reform UK leader Nigel Farage wins Clacton by-election
Nigel Farage has been successfully re-elected as the MP for Clacton.
The contest was triggered by the Reform UK leader’s resignation in July in protest at a parliamentary investigation into a £5m “gift” he received.
The Clacton by-election was boycotted by all the other major parties.

Despair for British democracy that 56% of the local electorate chose not to vote in an election that could’ve said so much about the national attitude to Reform.
Maybe their policies are less unacceptable to people than I would like to believe.
