UN atomic watchdog says found tons of nuclear material at Syria site • FRANCE 24 English

The head of the UN’s nuclear watchdog said Tuesday its inspectors had found several tons of nuclear material in Syria, at a site Damascus reported to the agency last month. Speaking at a news conference in Damascus, Rafael Grossi, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, praised Damascus’s “courageous decision” to report the undisclosed site, which dates back to the rule of ousted former leader Bashar-al-Assad.

  1. Looks like Russia was helping its best friend Assad & its old #1 African ally try to become a Nuclear power. Thank whatever god you believe it that it didnt work out.

  2. If the UN are so keen on finding illegal undeclared nuclear weapon sites they should have a look at the Negev Desert in southern Israel
