Balaclavas to be banned in Nottingham to tackle anti-social behaviour

Nottingham could soon impose a ban on face coverings such as balaclavas in a bid to crackdown on anti-social behaviour.

If the city’s council approves the measures it will allow police officers to ask people to remove coverings if they believe they are being used to hide their identity to commit crime.

Lack of co-operation could lead to a £70 on-the-spot fine. It’s part of a campaign to make the city centre safe.

  1. You identify them by arresting them.

There are plenty of reasons. It is not appropriate at all.

If u do that where i live.. i will start to kick off.

They can conceal their identity from camera without a balaclava.

You will get this law wrong at every opportunity. Id you can identity why… there was mo need to unmask them
