Rhiannon Whyte’s grieving son not given access to therapy after mother murdered by asylum seeker

Rhiannon Whyte’s sister Alex reveals her nephew was denied mental health care by the government after his mother was murdered by an asylum seeker.

Rhiannon was fatally stabbed 23 times by Sudanese asylum seeker Deng Chol Majek, who is believed to have entered the UK by small boat less than three months before the attack.

Speaking to Michelle Dewberry on GB News, Alex said she will continue to “battle” for her sister and nephew, saying: “He still struggles every single day. He’s not entitled to therapy at all. So that’s a battle that I’ve been fighting for almost two years just to get him the correct support that he needs and he deserves. He misses her every single day.”
