It's evident that the goal of this war is to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age, and plunge it into a permanent state of poverty and ignorance, which is a tragic fate the Iranian people don't deserve.

    Before the war, and even in spite of the sanctions, Iran was a scientific powerhouse. It had its own nuclear program (larger than Israel's) and a domestic military industry capable of producing advanced weapons such as hypersonic missiles. Now it's all gone. Also gone are many universities, research centers and even schools, which proves my point.

    It's incomprehensible why Iran's so-called allies, mainly Russia and China, watch passively as Iran is being destroyed. Believe it or not, this is WWIII, and America will win, not because its cause is just or because its weapons are more advanced, but mainly because the other side has not shown solidarity and has allowed its members to be destroyed one by one.

    Once America is done with Iran, it will go after China and then after Russia (not necessarily in that order). And there is just one man to blame: Vladimir Putin, who started this war back in 2022 and has shown an unparalleled ineptitude as de facto leader of the alliance which faces the West, a coalition which includes Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and Belarus.

    PS: Nuclear deterrence is an obsolete concept when the other side is not afraid to take risks.
