ITV has announced a brand new I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! spin-off, with a fresh location and never-before-seen twists on the usual format. It’s called I’m a Celebrity… The Wild Frontier and it’s launching in 2027.
The channel has released a promo video featuring Ant & Dec, who revealed that they are currently filming the series in the Canadian wilderness.
The duo explained that everyone taking part in the show has to enter as a pair: it could be two celebrities, a celeb and their relative, or even with their other half.

They also have to compete in their pairs and eat in their pairs… so you can imagine the tension if the campers don’t win enough food.
Not only that, the pairs have will to deal with the harshness of their new environment, and possibly bears…
The show is being filmed now, although it’s going to follow the second I’m a Celebrity… South Africa season and have a live final take place after every other episode has aired, with the public getting to vote for their winner.
We don’t have a release date yet, but the show will run for a few weeks in 2027, with Unpacked airing straight afterwards on ITV2, including a live episode right after the final. Vodcast and audio-only versions will also be available to stream.

“This brand new series is I’m a Celebrity… like you’ve never seen before,” Ant said. “It’s a brand new format with lots of twists and surprises.”
Dec added: “We’re also making sure to retain some of the elements that we know viewers love from the Australian series. Buckle up, it’s going to be brilliant.”
I’m a Celebrity… The Wild Frontier will air on ITV1 and stream on ITVX in 2027. The main show will air later this year.
