Funding milestone achieved. Omilia raised $67 million to expand globally.

Enterprise AI focus. Platform targets large, regulated sectors needing secure scalable CX.

Senior executives impacted. Enterprise IT and CX leaders gain access to predictable AI-driven contact center transformation.

Omilia, a voice-first AI company serving large enterprises, on Aug. 6 announced a $67 million Series B funding round led by transatlantic software and AI investor Expedition Growth Capital. According to the company, the capital will support continued growth in North America and globally, including the opening of Omilia’s first U.S. office in the second half of 2026.

The Athens- and New York-based company said it grew live annual recurring revenue more than 10x since its Series A to over $60 million, without raising additional equity in the interim. Its customers include Capital One, Discover, RBC, Taco Bell, DWP and PSEG.

Omilia said its proprietary agentic Voice AI technology supports more than 200 enterprise deployments, including a Tier 1 U.S. bank handling over 1 million calls per day. The vendor asserted its platform can resolve 50,000-plus concurrent voice interactions for a single client while maintaining sub-second latency.

“Omilia’s Self-Learning Agentic CX is delivering a step change in call containment and operational improvement, with glass-box auditability and cost predictability that is structurally difficult for other vendors to compete with,” Oliver Thomas, founder and managing partner, Expedition Growth Capital, said in a statement.

Recent Omilia Developments

Omilia spent the first half of 2026 converting analyst validation into commercial momentum. On Jan. 20, the company announced a strategic partnership with Atento to jointly go to market across the U.S., EMEA and Latin America. Back-to-back analyst nods followed: a Forrester Wave Leader designation for Conversational AI Platforms on April 22 and a Gartner Visionary placement in the Magic Quadrant on July 7.

On the product side, Omilia on July 8 launched Lexis, a generative text-to-speech model native to its Cloud Platform featuring sub-45ms latency across more than 25 locales, rapid voice cloning and a full compliance stack including PCI-DSS, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR and CCPA.

The company also built out its go-to-market bench. On July 2, Omilia appointed Armando Trivellato — a veteran of Atento and Five9 — as EVP Growth for Latin America and Iberia. On July 28, Dave Ogden joined as VP of Revenue Operations, also arriving from Five9.

Market Context: Agentic AI’s Contact Center Ascension

Agentic AI is moving from pilot to production in enterprise contact centers, with measurable gains in call containment, agent productivity and cost reduction.

A $50B Market Takes Shape

Enterprise conversational AI is projected to grow 192% — from $17.05 billion in 2025 to $49.8 billion by 2031. Voice remains a proving ground: as VKTR reported, every call surfaces consequential choices about latency, data sovereignty, cloud versus on-device processing and audio quality under network strain.

From Scripted Bots to Autonomous Reasoning

Agentic platforms are pushing contact centers beyond scripted chatbots toward systems that reason, plan and act autonomously. These systems ingest support tickets, purchase history, product usage data and real-time system status to maintain context across multi-step interactions.

Real-time API integration with CRM, contact center as a service (CCaaS) and workforce management platforms amplifies the business value of voice deployments, CMSWire reported.

Governance & Human Oversight

The operational model is shifting from human-assisted AI to AI-powered human workflows. Governed platforms with human-in-the-loop oversight — now focused on exceptions and compliance rather than routine handling — reported 31% fewer escalations and 70% deflection rates.
